Brief History: Decent Exposures was started in 1986 by Pat Marcus in Seattle, Washington. Pat and her family have been fitting women's breasts of all sizes for over a decade. Their ever expanding product line comes in a rainbow of colours includes: nursing bras, front closure bras, mastectomy pockets, latex free elastic, t-shirts, pants, bathing suits, skorts, dresses, night shirts, leotards, underwear and baby accessories. They offer a wide range of sizes from petite to super size and offer customized fittings. Everything is made to order so you get the right size, color and fabric. If there's a problem with the fit, they'll take it back and adjust it for you. Some items are in stock and are shipped in a few days while others are personally made by your measurements and shipped within 2-5 weeks. Decent Exposures is a business with a conscious and works by providing decent wages (anti-sweatshop environment), customer service and recycling everything they use.

Comments: The website is very easy to maneuver and you can see everything via the drop down menu. Be specific when ordering. The more information you provide the better they can service you. After placing my order I received three separate emails letting me know of the process. The first was a confirmation to let me know my order had been received and the details of my order. The second again confirmed my order, costs, shipping (which was only $3 to Canada!), the length of time it would take to create (4.5 weeks) and a number to contact if I had questions. The third let me know the item was shipped. I found these emails comforting from an internet shopping standpoint. Things I love about it: Fabric is pre-washed to reduce shrinking. I love organic cotton. It's less irritating and is so soft.
Satisfaction: Very high! I was told in a confirmation email it would arrive in 4.5 weeks. I ordered on 8/8. It was shipped on 9/1 and I received it on 9/13. This bra was so comfortable I forgot I was wearing it. It's not a push up bra but it is a comfortable containment unit. No picking, pulling or adjusting required. It's easy to care for. I wash it with other underthings and hang it to dry. Occasionally it gets put in the dryer but I've been lucky. It is still the most comfortable bra I have. There is a bit of pilling in the under arm area but that's understandable for the amount of time I spend in it. Now, I wouldn't want to go jogging in it but I feel contained and supported for everyday wear. I love my Decent Exposures bra and plan on getting more. (FYI - I also tried a pair of their French cut underwear and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of fabric and stitching. Very comfy. A bit heavy for summer wear but great for winter.)
