Ensenada Mexico Wine Tour
Yes... on our annual trip to Baja, Mexico... we drove outside of Ensenada, Mexico and took a wine tour.
It really is just like taking a wine tour in San Diego, California... except you know that you are in a foreign country! Much cheaper than taking a trip to Italy, eh?

If you are a wine drinker at all... the tour gives a great 40 minute education about how it is made and you will also see why wine tasting is such a popular activity. If you are headed to the Ensenada and Rosarito Mexico area of Baja... a wine tour is a "must do" adventure.
The tour is free... as is the tasting of 4 different wines. This all in the hopes that you will make a purchase... which of course we did. Wine is a wonderful souvenir of your trip, as well as a token of appreciation for those that watched over your pets while you were out having a beach vacation!
You will find that a trip to the wine country is an affordable side bonus when your on vacation... and we sure did appreciate the cooler weather when we drove back to the beach country. It's hot in "them their hills" where the wineries are located.
We had a great experience and found that the drive was worth the extra effort because it is an experience that you will never forget. Not only are was the wine tours fun for the wine drinkers and the non - drinkers in our group, but we felt so educated and worldly to boot!
