How would you like it if your bank account got credited $1,440 every morning? Sounds fantastic, doesn’t it? That could add up to a half million dollars or more every year.
But, there’s one little catch. What if the bank wouldn’t let you carry a balance over from one day to the next. That means you’d have to either use it or lose it. Under those conditions, what would you do?
More than likely, you’d be focused on spending, giving away or investing every single dollar every single day, right? You wouldn’t ever want to waste a penny, would you? Of course not! It would mean careful management of your money under these conditions, but you’d certainly be willing to take it on.
Well, we all have such a bank account. Its name is TIME.
Every morning time credits you with 1,440 minutes and each day you only get twenty four hours to spend them wisely. The next morning you lose whatever time you failed to put to good use. And you can never get it back. There are no carry over balances and no overdrafts with time. If you don’t use the day’s deposit to your best advantage, you lose that day’s opportunity for ever.
For example, if your annual earnings are $25,000, your time is worth $12.50 an hour. At $50,000 a year, it’s worth $25.00 an hour. And at $100,000, $50.00 an hour. Time is money and your account is ticking away. You only get so much each day and whatever you don’t use with positive purpose is gone and you never get it back.
So, how are you spending your daily credit of time? Are you getting your money’s worth from each day’s allotment of 1,440 minutes? Are you realizing the personal satisfaction, wholesome fun, good health, and financial value available in each and every minute? Are you making your minutes add up to a happy, healthy, profitable lifetime?
The point of all this is that time is a valuable commodity. And managing your time wisely can pay off in life long dividends. Use it well and you can have the life of abundance, wealth, health, happiness and satisfaction that you’ve always wanted.
