| In the last tutorial, we drew a sunburst shape in IllustratorR using the Ellipse tool and the Stroke panel. We then copied and pasted the sunburst into Photoshop to finish our header design. Our sunburst is solid black so that we can use it in many different ways and designs. If you travel the web, you will see that the sunburst is used quite frequently in header designs. Most of the time, it is semitransparent and used as part of the background with the more prominent design details in front. Let's open our sunburst design element that we created in the previous tutorial into PhotoshopR. We already have the design set with a width to 800, height to 200, resolution to 72, color mode to RGB and a transparent background.
