Old New Borrowed and a Blue Signature Drink Recipe

Old New Borrowed and a Blue Signature Drink Recipe

I have created this recipe to be multiplied by however many people you will be serving. This is a tall glass recipe. The amount of the drink is 8 ounces plus rocks. Of course you can create it however big you would like it. Here is also a quick list of items to have on hand.

Blue food color
sugar
your choice of glassware (this recipe is written for an 8oz drink on the rocks)
Frozen pink lemonade
Roses Blue raspberry cocktail infusion (no alcohol)
Lemon for rimming the glass
Blueberry or lemon for garnish(or both)

Blueberry Kissed Lemonade
(the perfect pair)

1 can of frozen pink lemonade prepared to the can directions equals eight people. Make sure that it is definitely pink lemonade or your drink will turn green. I don't know how many people you are having but this is a breakdown for eight people.
10 ounces Roses Blue Raspberry Cocktail Infusion
Mix he two components together, you can adjust the blue color accordingly as well.
Pour the sugar on a plate an add just the tiniest amount of food color, essentially not even really a drop. Just enough to color the sugar. Mix together until the sugar is a slight blue. This will be to rim the glass. Take the lemon by slices and run it around the rim of the glasses. This will give a sticky surface for the sugar to stick to. Place the rim in the sugar and give a slight twist. Then tap off any excess These glasses can be done ahead of time, this will allow the sugar to crystallize.
Fill the glasses with ice, preferably cubed ice but whatever you have will work. The reason I say cubed ice because a lot of people have ice makers in their fridges that create crushed ice. Crushed ice melts a lot faster.
Top the glasses up with the blue mixture and garnish with a lemon slice or a blueberry on the rim of the glass, or both. I hope you enjoy this recipe it tastes great.
