Believe it or not there really are some free, worthwhile resources for
writers online!
But beware not all offers categorized as "free" actually cost nothing.
For example, note the differences between "freeware" (you never pay for it) and "shareware" (you may get it for free initially, but you must eventually pay a fee to continue to use it.)
Another common catch to some "free" offers online is written in the fine print where it states the specific terms of the "freebie." An example of such terms is the offer is free for one month (like a trial magazine subscription) - and by signing up to receive free trial, you agree to pay $20 to continue your subscription for the rest of the year...
