Chicken Divan

Chicken or Turkey Divan

  • 4 boneless/skinless chicken breast halves - cooked, then shredded or cut into pieces
    Or, use 4 cups leftover chicken or turkey breast.
  • 2 boxes frozen broccoli cuts or 1 head of broccoli - cut up and cooked
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1cup mayonaisse or miracle whip
  • 1 can(14 oz.) evaporated milk
  • 16 oz. grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 can french fried onions
  • cooked rice

Preparation -
In a large bowl, combine soup, mayonaisse, evaporated milk and grated cheese stirring well. Add cooked broccoli and chicken or turkey. Spray a large casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Add chicken mixture. place in oven uncovered. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Add french fried onions and bake an additional 5 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to set for about 10 minutes, before serving over hot, cooked rice.
