Welcome to the Attention Deficit Disorder Forum here at BellaOnline.com. My name is Erika Lyn Smith and I am the new editor for the BellaOnline Attention Deficit Disorder Website and Forum. There is a free forum provided for each topic at BellaOnline.

There are specific rules set forth by BellaOnline called terms of use. I have listed a few them below.

1) This forum is the ADD or Attention Deficit Disorder Forum. Posts must be on topic in relation to the specific forum. This is the ADD Forum and ADD or AD/HD topics regarding life experienced as someone diagnosed with ADD, someone who lives with a person diagnosed ADD, or works in the ADD field would all be appropriate.

2) This forum may have visitors, including teens or children with ADD, all posts must be on topic and written respectfully. Each of us has different opinions and experiences related to ADD yet this editor truly believes differences can assist others in their journey with ADD, provided poster write courteously.

3) Although many people with ADD use physician prescribed medication, which assists them in controlling the symptoms of ADD, links directing posters to specific sites that sell ADD medication online is unacceptable. Discussing individual response to medications is ok with this editor but no one can nor should recommend specific medications to anyone.

4) SPAM or outside advertising is unacceptable in the BellaOnline forums. Participants (non-BellaOnline editors) can place one outside link in their signature or post, provided the link does not drive readers away from BellaOnline to another website promoting similar information as provided on the ADD site at BellaOnline. BellaOnline allows editors three links in their signature.

***BellaOnline is serious regarding the violations of advertising or SPAM in the forums and repeat violators will have their ISP notified and their privileges revoked by BellaOnline.

Everyone will adhere to the guidelines. This provides a safe environment for everyone who wishes to participate. If you feel a post is inappropriate please send me a private message and I will check out the information as soon as I receive the message. Each editor moderates his or her individual forum, which means moderators can and will edit or delete inappropriate posts or responses without warning.
