What’s Happening in Scouting is a newsletter designed to let you know what is new on the website and the topics most people seem to be interested in. By nature it is a one way communication. But I’m really interested in topics that you would like to learn more about or express an opinion on. The best way to give me some direction is to send me an email.

Boy Scouting is a huge subject area. We can talk about everything from Advancement and Merit Badges to Venturing; from Boards of Review to Webelos requirements; from Eagle projects to Dutch oven recipes; from Philmont trip preparations to fundraising. Let me know what is important to you.

As the site grows, we will provide you links to organizations and sites that will help make your Scouting activity easier and more enjoyable. Helping to select what merit badges your son should take at his first summer camp or planning an Eagle Court of Honor can seem like daunting tasks. But lots of people have gone through this and we are here to help you. You are not the Lone Ranger.
