Bio of Michelle Anne Cope:
My journey with digital musical began long ago as a radio personality. I’ve watched a drastic change in the world of radio over the last decade. Changes like records to CDs, reel-to-reels to DAT tapes, and local stations to satellite stations. Then one day . . . the equipment used by our listeners to play their music became smaller – small enough to fit into a pocket. At the same time these tiny players of music were big enough to hold an entire music collection. It was the birth of the MP3 and iPod players. I was shocked, awed and MP3/iTunes illiterate.
I spent hours and hours doing research on the web, talking to friends and salespeople before I finally decided to buy an iPod Shuffle and a Zune. I wanted to explore the music services as well as the players. I signed up for Rhapsody and Napster to Go, I even bought a package for XM satellite radio.
My goal as your editor is to save you the time and trouble I had in finding answers and suggestions. I look forward to building this site with articles using your input and questions.
Please feel free to contact me with your questions and suggestions.
