Joan of Arc 3: Cleansing of the Loire

This mission gets trickier - you're facing three enemies. You begin on an island - move north to the flag to get on boats and cross the river. Right across the river and slightly north, land on the bank and go north to the patch of shrubs. Set up right beneath the gold supply. Start your town, putting a tower on the hill to your northwest. There's an enemy lumber yard just on the other side of the trees to the north - harass it so they don't get to close. Be sure to guard both this tower side as well as the east side of your town.

Don't build a dock yet - they have ships that just destroy your docks. Build lots of farms, a market to buy stone, and horsemen. Build a tower by your town hall, by the northern side - you'll get incursions randomly to test your strength. Be sure to use the bell feature of the town hall - it can defend itself quite nicely with the townsfolk inside it.

Build up a bunch of priests, and create an attack force of horsemen, archers,and priests, plus a few seige weapons. Start them out west and then north, to take out the Burgundians. They have a base near the top left corner. Work your way up there and take them out. The British will make various taunts at you during this.

The British have a base further north of here. Build a Seige workshop nearby so it's easy to get your various tools of destruction to them quickly. Work your way through the towers and such, healing up with priests and workmen in between attacks.

Those are the only bases on this side of the river - now your remaining enemies are across the north-south river which is to the east. There are a few fords. Set up a tower by each ford, and now build a dock and send some ships around taking out their naval forces. There's a second British base to the NE - work your way through that, and then south through what remains!
