Dark Cloud 2 Walkthrough:
Moving Around & Controller Use

Dark Cloud 2 is actually quite reasonable about its keys and cameras and usage - we found it all quite intuitive. Here are the buttons to keep track of:

In the Field

O: Reset the camera
[]: Point the camera
tri: Menu
start: pause
left joystick: move character
right joystick: move camera
L1/R1: rotate camera
L2: reset camera
R2: switch from 3rd person to 1st person
L3 (push left joystick IN): switch between Max and Monica

In the Dungeons
X: Attack with hand
O: Reset camera / lock on target
[]: Use the active item (in your selected slot out of the 3 in the top left)
tri: menu
start: pause
left joystick: move character
right joystick: move camera
L1: aim/charge projectile weapon
R1: guard
L2: Reset camera
R2: switch from 3rd person to 1st person
L3 (push left joystick IN): switch between Max and Monica
R3 (push right joystick IN): switch between Max/Ridepod or Monica/Monster
select: switch map display
