Dungeon Keeper Walkthrough: Buffy Oak

The area to the north is pre-dug for you in this one, which pits you against a team of Dungeon Keepers. Bring in your 10th level dragon and reserach up while you build your rooms. Build the typical rooms, train and scavenge and dig out the gold up by you. Don't dig through the southern gold until you're ready for the enemy. Don't wait too long, though, or they're IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL!! If you start seeing their imps lurking around that southern area, you might be in trouble.

Once you break the southern area (do so in a way that you can still build a door down there), imprison any enemies you meet so you can capture their imps and such. Heal them before torturing them for the best chance of conversion. If you have dragons scavenging you can end up with over 20 quite easily. There are some GREAT spots for boulder traps down south. Don't forget you can activate them by slapping them. Use the great door-in-front-of-boulder-line to get them all busily working "in the area". Once they get through the door, SMASH comes the rolling ball. Wheeeee!

There are blocks of gold to the right and left of that middle area - the east hides a "reveal map" while the west has an increase level. These are guarded by traps, so watch your imps while they're in there. This keeper is really good at zapping and dropping in other monsters so stay alert. If you're on your toes, this isn't a bad level and especially with the creatures you can scavenge and the help of the Ball of Doom you should be in good shape. In the very bottom is your transfer star.
