You start by going to find the archaeologist, but discover that someone already has stolen him away. Head on after him. You fight your way up until the barrier is down, ending up in Gibbet Woods.

"They've summoned a rock troll" sounds very much like my favorite line in Lord of the Rings :)

Now comes a slaughter of fighting. You find him, and he's upset. He tells you of a route in the Lichfield graveyard. You have to figure out how to open it, though. Then he runs off.
