 Fable Walkthrough Merchant Notes : Orchard Farm Merchant Quest Once you start questing, you'll find that a ton of merchants appear in Lookout Point wanting to be taken to Orchard Farms. If you accept they give you a quarter up front - over 1000g - and then follow along behind you. It's a short enough route, but note that they are NOT very patient. If you stop in the middle to fight a lot of enemies they are likely to take off on you on their own. Focus on just clearing enough so they get through unharmed. That way they pay you the rest of the fee and even give you a bonus gem if you didn't let anybody hurt them.
I'll usually get +100 renown and a ruby.
