You first meet Innkeeper Hal, who is surprised to see Vivi walking around. You all go into the room and Dagger reveals that she wants to go to Lindblum. You sleep and awaken to her singing. You see an ATE about Vivi confused why the kids are afraid of him. To the left is a color-by-fortune which gives you a random lucky color. To the east is an antidote.

Go into the main room for another ATE about Dagger trying to fit in and be scared of ooglops. Gumo the moggle is here, and a cat is on the ledge. You give Gumo the letter about Stiltzkin. When you leave the inn, you get yet another ATE about the innkeeper talking to the cat - he's the mayor's brother, and will tell the mayor about seeing Vivi.

Go across the street to the store. The wall tells you that the first value on a card is its attack, 3 and 4 are its defenses. Check out my Card Notes for the real story. Buy up whatever you need here, and you can challenge the storekeeper to card wars if you wish. She's got a cactaur as well as tons of flans and lizard men. She also has a zuu which I like.

You can glance in the inn window, an dlook at the airship wheel below the mayor's house. The mayor won't let him in his house. In here you get an ATE about dagger talking to the shop keeper. You can look at the farm patterns, talk to the bartender, talk to the mill worker. Find Vivi by the mill and you'll get the ATE about him being captured.

Find Dagger in the store, and tell her she's doing great, that she's just like Ruby. Head back to the inn with her. You'll get another ATE about Steiner hanging out in the pub.

Dagger's worried about Vivi - go back to where you found him before and you'll hear him crying underground. Time to head into the mill.
