Blitzball: Shooting

Shooting means that the player with the ball is choosing to try to shoot a goal. Remember, the goal you're after is always on the left of the screen. Your shooting accuracy is listed as SH on the screen. You are comparing your shooting accuracy against the goalie's catching accuracy (CA). It's not just one minus the other though. There's a bit of randomness. The goalie's CA is randomly set to between 50% and 150% of his real CA. So if a goalie's CA was really 8, it might be as low as 4, or it might be as high as 12. So no goal is a sure thing or a sure miss, really. Which is sort of like real life.
