Your next mission is a ring challenge. Work your way in and get to a yin-yang door. A little way from there, press R2 to get on a jetboard. Your task is to get 17 yin-yang things. Use X to jump, X and R1 to flip
Once you tag all tokens, go to the door. Jump up into it. Now head on down the hallway to the light spot. Go up to the statue. You get a new power - the full power of light. This is the flash freeze ability - use L2 and square to activate it.
Do it and hop across the spinners. Go up to the main hall and grind across the ledge. Dodge the holes, grind and hop along to the door. There's a light spot here. Stop the spinner and go across while it's slow. This is a pretty tough task, just stick with it until you get through.
You have a few of those to cross, then a crumbling floor. Soon you get to a big circle.
You're at a hangar area now. Get near the ship, and look at it. Apparently this looks like the catacombs in Haven city. Your birdie shows up. Hop in and ride on through the tunnel. This is a tempest-like game which comes down to memorizing the course, knowing where to do the dodging and shooting. In addition you have to kill all of th emoving red things as you get to the end.
Once you finish this run, you get a new light power at the end. This is the light Jak shield - L2 and circle.
Go to the circle room to go up. Note that it won't go up before the game is sure you're ready to leave. Follow the bird around to the white spot. Go up the boxes to an overlook. You're now at the "old eco mine".
Your instructions are to shoot at the bridges to lower them. You go through various hills and dales, then have another elevator ride. You reach a light eco spot - fill up. Take the sliding elevator down. General fighting - go around shooting guys. You have to put the red guys into the spinny things to continue onwards. You get leg armor at the end.
OK, go to the lever and push it - a carriage moves and drops off for you. This is a race task. You have to shoot the red track targets before the car gets there. There are two at the first set. Then run and grind to the next site, following the path alongside the rails. Keep going around until eventually you are back at the starting spot. There, you run into the dastardly Baron.
Time for a fight with a big, red robot guy. You go through several rounds with him. First you fight blue things, then pillars come up. Hop up them and shoot at a mine cart to cause it to fall at his head. When you get through the rounds, you get an arc wielder.
