If anybody tried to play this game without playing the first Kingdom Hearts game they would be COMPLETELY confused :) There are a lot of cut scenes that are mystical enough for those of us that played Kingdom Hearts a ton :)

"a scattered dream that's like a far off memory"

"I want to line the pieces up - yours and mine."

You go through an intro scene that recaps the first game but is pretty much meaningless if you never played it. :) Note that it covers both the PS2 game and the GameBoy game.

Finally, "you have arrived" with a black robed guy. "I've been to see him. He looks a lot like you."

There's another black robed guy. Be prepared, you're going to meet lots of them. "Who are you? "

"I'm what's left ... or maybe I'm all there ever was."

"I meant your name."

"My name is of no importance. What about you? Do you remember your true name?"

"My true name is ..."

Cut ... to ...

"Sora?"

Sora wakes up. "Gimme a break Kai -" zap zap zap

"If there are any other worlds out there why did we end up in this one?"

"This world has been connected. tied to the darkness."

"Sora, don't ever change."

"The door has opened." zap zap.

"You understand nothing."
