Lego Harry Potter Walkthrough
Getting To Hogwarts

You get the fun Train Platform scene, and then ride the train on to Hogswarts. Next thing you're on the boats floating towards the school, and then it's the sorting hat scene. You take control again when you and Ron are up in your dorm room.

Knock the tops of all four beds - you get a gold brick 4/200. Bounce around on the beds and blast and zap everything. You unlock the Ron character here in the chest. Note again that you now have the ability to buy him as a character in the shops - you don't instantly get access to him in free play yet.

You can't levitate things yet, so ignore any puzzles that involve levitating. You'll have to do those later. Follow the down arrow, and go to the common room.

You unlock "Griffindor Boy" in the back corner. Hermoine shows up and you can become her as well. Trap the sleeping boy in the couch and then let him out again for a "Student in Peril" credit.

When you're done in here, zap the guy in the painting so he loses his pants - this will cause the chest to move out of the way and you can move into the main stair area.

Zap all the banners in here (5/5) to get a gold brick. Now head down the stairs. First you have to go up to the right. Have Ron send his rat into the pipe to ring the bell. Then return to the main platform, talk to the painting, and the stairs will rotate for you. The statues in the lower area have tons of coins. Zap the Quiddich guy, he throws a ball at you. Follow the arrow.

You get a gold brick for making flower pots. Move on to the next room. You can't get far in this room with the spells you currently have, so keep moving along and follow your arrow. You're ready for your first lesson.
