Pokemon Snap Walkthrough

Beach Level

This is the first level, so of course it's the easiest. You start out with three Pidgey s flying right in front of you. Next, a Doduo wanders across your path. There is a Pikachu on the right - when you earn the Apple, use it to lure the Pikachu over to the surfboard for a great photo op. The Butterfree s are flitting around in the air, and nearby a Snorlax is sleeping on a hill. You'll need a pester ball to wake him, or a flute to really get him dancing.

A Meowth on a ledge will smile down at you, and also dance if you can play a tune. To the left, a Scyther is hiding in the weeds and will only come out for the pester ball. Various creatures are chasing each other about. Off in the water, a Lapras can be seen in the distance. The more you take pictures of the Lapras, the closer they come in!

If you can lure the two Pikachu onto the stumps in this area, you can get huge points - we racked up 6220 with that one!

Bother the Kanghaskan to get it to turn and show its pretty face, and then as you round the next corner, bop both of the Pidgeys to save Meowth from being tornadoed. If you do, he'll dance for you!

There's also a Eevee chasing a Chancey - if you bop the Chancey it'll unroll and let you take a great photo!

Finally, a Magikarp is in the pool, but it's hardly worth taking its picture - there are far better ones later on!

The "sign" is immediately on the left near the beginning of the course, in the pile of rocks.

Next, you move on to the Tunnel .
