Planescape Torment:
Buried Village

The Buried Village is the home of Pharod, and a place to recharge while fighting things down in the Catacombs. Ku'u Yin is here, who had his name stolen from him by Radine. Radine is just a ways down to the south. Tell her it's a burden but a necessary one to return the name, and you'll get 250xp and a tattoo number. Return to Ku'u Yin, and he gives you 2500xp for your efforts, and lets you keep the tattoo. It's a warding against chaos.

To the north is Quint the trader - in addition to buying and selling things, he wants a necklace back from Gris in the Catacombs. When you find Gris he tells you it's to the left of Martha's house. Get it and return it for 7500xp and some money.

Further south is Uhir, a collector, who wants his knife back from a ghoul. When you find it and return it to him, he gives you 5000xp.

The middle house has Ojo, who is a bit daft. When your intelligence is high enough, you realize he is talking to a rat in the wall, which gives him information.

To the left is Marta, a teeth puller and sewing person. You can buy a great tooth for Morte from her. Have her search your stomach, and you get 500xp and a twisted ring. You can rest here if you wish.

To the right is Pharod's court. Pharod wants an ugly, bronze sphere shaped like an egg, which smells like rotton custard. He claims you wanted to get into the mortuary for some reason. If you tell him the story you know of his fall from power, he gets annoyed with you.

Once you talk with Pharod, Barr will let you down into the Weeping Stone Catacombs, which is a rather large monster-killing area.

When you finally return with the egg, you get 15000xp. You learn you had asked Pharod to keep your body safe when/if it was found dead. He says Annah, his daughter, found your body. You harass him about what his tribute was for 1000xp, and he gives you money, paper, and a ring. Annah comes out to join your party, to show you where you had been found. This is through the painted door in Hive: South. You in essence now teleport there.
