Weeping Stone Catacombs
Note that you can come and go as you wish, but you have to pay 50g to get out each time unless you have retrieved the egg.
Laying by the entrance, looking like a dead body, is Bart. He says Lowden is in the trap crypt (i.e. Dismembered Crypt) and that both ran from Gris.
The main catacombs area has lots of interesting monsters - including lesser vargouilles and cranium rats - and a few side crypts to poke into. To the northwest is the Dismembered Crypt, full of traps. If you go down beneath into the Underchamber, you find your own arm (a previous version of you) with tattoos on it. Bring this back to Fell the tattoo artist, and he admits he did the designs and gives you other interesting info on it.
In the southwest is Glyve, a talking head. He needs fresh water from the drowned Nations to restore himself. An artist named Chad knows the location. He explains how the Dead Nations are fighting Many-as-One (the Cranium Rats). When you bring the water back (5000xp), he tells you to seek Nemelle in the Clerk's Ward for more info.
To the west is the Mosaic Crypt, with a tomb with money and a sledgehammer. Don't walk in the center area here.
To the north are ghouls and the Crypt of the Embraced. When you open the crypt three ghouls show up to kill. If you've spoken with Bart, you can talk to the person in the crypt - it's Gris. He says the Tiled Crypt has a secret, and that the charm is to the left of Martha's House.
To the northeast is a Shattered Crypt, with treasures but no monsters. There are wererats to the northeast. Also in this direction are the Warrens of Thought (on CD3) which are where Mantuok, 1/2 man 1/2 rat, lives.
The middle has a ton of cranium rats - be sure to have a few healing spells to get through them. To the south is the Dead Nation Catacombs, which also puts you onto CD3. By this entrance is Chad, that just looks like a body. If you kill the vargouilles nearby, he'll tell you about the flask that will help out Glyve, that it's in the Drowned Nations.
