Gas planets, ah yes. First off, there's a shortcut in the beginning to the hard right. If you miss it, stay to the far left of the track - a rock will try to squash you. There are many zig-zags underground - learn the rhythm of going through them. Ease up for the sharp turns. You can gun the engine at the end - it's smooth sailing there.
