The 'Core Reactor' mission. I don't enjoy this kind of mission as much as I do the normal, strategical ones. This mission starts you with a few infantry at the entrance of a nuclear reactor, about to blow. You've got a timer running. First off, a troop of bad guys are running at you and will blow up barrels next to you. Immediate run south to get clear of those, and when you get to the bottom (and the bad guys are half-way down amidst the barrels), blow the barrels up and torch them all.

Next, get the dogs out. Don't be distracted by the allies in the tiny room. Shoot the guard by the dogs (to the south of the entrance), and then the barrels. The dogs are now free. Take the dogs west, up to free the engineers. This shouldn't be too tough. The next part is, though.

Tanya and some of her henchmen are standing in front of the main reactor. She is TOUGH to kill and you will need every one of your forces alive to get to her. Get as close as possible (about half-way up) in the central room, and then rush her with everything. At least some of the dogs should get through to kill her. Kill the rest of the henchmen. The tough part is over.

Go back to the little room and kill the remaining guards. Get the engineers to the four coolant towers (to the sides of the central corridor where Tanya was) and you're pretty much set!

NOTE: Arthur (rostov@po.pacific.net.sg) had the following hint if you want to do this the 'easy' way: After rescuing the engineers with the dogs, avoid Tanya and the main reactor computers behind her. Assist the engineers to deactivate the rest of the computers, and you'll find that two flame throwing turrets will suddenly rise next to Tanya, and go haywire and kill the gang there.
