Saints Row 2 Walkthrough
Ambulance EMT

Once you get an ambulance - dial 911 to have one brought to you - hit the button to start the event. A spot will appear on the map where people are hurt. In other games you pick them up and take them to the hospital. In this one you actually save them on the spot. There are two "mini-games" to save them. You either shock them with the paddles, or do manual CPR. Both involve using the dual joysticks on the controller.

With the paddles you are in essence creating static electricity so you have to push them in opposite directions quickly. So the left joystick up, the right one down and then switch. With chest compressions you do them "together" - both up, both down, at a medium rate. As a side note, in real life when you do CPR you need to do it quickly - i.e. at the exact tempo as the song "Staying Alive" (yes the disco hit) :)

You don't have to save all the patients in a given spot necessarily - just the number indicated, then move on.

Every time you stop doing Ambulance, you restart at level 1 again.
