Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Walkthrough
Controller Keys

You can actually see the keys right in the menu screen, so it's sort of silly for me to list them here. You can switch the up-down to be down-up in there if you want. Different people get used to that working in different ways.

Normal Movement
right stick - moving
left stick - camera
square - jump / climb
circle - hit / use
X - sprint
L1 - stats (or to pick up cell phone call)
R2 - change weapon

Cars / Vehicles
triangle - get in / out

Remote Controlled Planes
X to accelerate, square to decelerate
R2 / L2 for the rudder
joystick for up/down/left/right
L1 to fire guns with unlimited ammo

If you're on a motorcycle, you can fire a SMG ahead of you while you drive. If you're in a car, you have to look out a side window and then shoot. It's far harder to drive and do that. I highly recommend using motorcycles if your aim is to chase and shoot someone.
