The Sims Online:
An Overview of Sim Needs

Just like in the PC game, your Sim has several basic needs. These are:

* Hunger
* Comfort
* Hygiene
* Bladder
* Energy
* Fun
* Social
* Room

Unlike the Sims, your online character won't go meet his or her own needs. Otherwise it wouldn't be much of a MMORPG, would it! Instead, you have to make sure your sim is taken care of. Most of the needs can be met on your own - eating food you make on your stove, sleeping in your bed, and so on. The social need has to be met with other on line players, though. This forces you out of your own little home and into the world at large!

You can't die - the most that happens is you curl up unhappy, or pout in a corner. Still, if you want a happy sim, be sure to keep yourself in the green!
