Mission 2 has you trusting the words of Tassadar, and going after the Zerg Cerebrate. You have to keep Fenix alive as well.

You begin to the west on a platform with two entrances. Guard both of them, and build up. The enemy is right in the center, and your reinforcements will be showing up to the northeast. Work your way in against the enemy, building cannons as you go. Get Fenix down along the east side, and post him by the crystals. He can keep them from building up by picking off their units on that side.

Once you eat through their central base, head south. That's where the Cerebrate is. Kill it and the mission's done!
