Basic Controls
This game is GREAT - just hit the minus button and it'll tell you all the key commands you need. Hold the controller sidways, with the D-pad to the left. Use the 2 button to jump.
The A button will let you switch from 2D to 3D once you learn that skill.
The 1 button will let you grab things, again when you learn to do that.
