Ty the Tasmanian Tiger Walkthrough
Ship Rex

This is a pretty beach level that teaches you all about swimming and underwater antics!

You meet Rex the lifeguard. He's worried about Elle, who is out swimming near a danger spike. She hasn't come home yet. Rex says he'll teach you to swim if you'll help out.

x to dive
a to swim

Since boomerangs won't work underwater, he gives you aquarangs! Go up the stairs to the swimming pool and get your aquarangs. They are NOT in the ocean in front of you. Now go back to the beach and go hit the button with your aquarangs.

This is a big pond with big fish, gather up the gems as you learn to swim. Next you get into a shark area. Swim from cage to cage, remaining safe while you figure out where to go next. We had a funny bug once where the language all switched to French in here!

Use the rang to hit the button. Soon you're over at the mountain area with a long, curved path. Follow it along gathering up orbs and slaying enemies. At long last you reach the top and Elle the Platypus is there, quite safe of course. She says she's going home now and gives you a gem.

There's a gear up in the mounain ledges. Head back to the starting area and get on the roof. Shoot up for artworks. Jump on the chairs for some orbs. There's a cog on the top of the roof of the buildling.

The race here is done in about 2:02 for a gem.
