Chapter Six - The Culling
The prince was warned by the prophet in the cut-scene to head west. He of course ignores the message.
Now things get a little icky. You reach Stratholme early the next morning and find that everybody is infected. So Arthas the brilliant decides that you might as well kill everybody (i.e. the entire town population) since they're just going to die anyway. Jaina and Uther think this is nasty and Arthas drives them off. Now that he's lost half his troops, it's time to go on a killing spree.
There mission is to kill 100 townspeople before the bad guy does. It's really not that hard so don't rush into it. First, build a blacksmith shop and upgrade your keep to a castle. Build another tower to protect your base while you're off townspeople-bashing. The bad guy won't get going for a while. After a while he pops in and says he's ready to go. At that point you should have some troops with you. Head to the nearest batch of houses and start destroying them. You should have enough guys that one set is destroying a house while the other set is killing the people in the previously destroyed one.
Mal'Ganis gets annoyed and comes to fight. Kill him first, then his minions. He comes back to life again eventually but it gives you some quiet time for a while. I had his second attack when I was up 35 to 12. His third attack was when I was at 90 to 66. Be sure to keep up with your farm buildings and build 2 barracks to crank out attackers more quickly. Be sure you keep your troops destroying the house and when you hear one cave in go and redirect them to take out another one.
When you get the 100 kills, you have a final fight or so you think ... but he leaves and says he'll meet you in Northrend.
