Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos Walkthrough
Chapter One - Chasing Visions

OK, you've finished with the visions of the bird-prophet telling you that "You must rally" and to "seek me out". Now young Thrall, an Orc Chieftain, is yours to command. The first levels of games are always the learn-how-to-move levels and this one is no exception. Click on him to select him. Right click somewhere else to move him. Three guys join you, use click-drag to select them all and then right-click to move them somewhere. Click a gnoll to attack it.

Now you attack a little gnoll camp, and Thrall gains a level. This is one of the cool additions to the game. Because the heroes progress from mission to mission, you really do build a sense of familiarity with them. You care about Thrall, as he gains in strength and knowledge and tries to do what is right for his clan. In this case, you get to learn Chain Lightning with his level increase. This is a pretty cool spell!

OK, now continue down the path. There are more enemies, like the Murloc. You meet peaceful deer, and the wolves howl as nighttime comes on. You can't see as far in the dark as you can in the day. You pass a sleeping ogre, which you can just ignore to keep your young party alive.

Eventually in the top right of the map you find the prophet, who says to lead your people to Kalimdor across the sea.

Mission Time: Approx 9 min
