Worms: Armageddon
Hints & Tips

Worms: Armageddon has to be one of the most fun games we've played in a while, and one of the most addictive. There are many times that we're not in the mood for any other game, and play Worms until the early morning hours!

One key thing in the higher levels of deathmatch play is the endgame. Even if you get to one of your force vs 8 of theirs, you can still win. It's just a matter of protecting yourself, and whittling away their forces.

Earlier on, be sure to protect as many of your guys as possible. Dig them into nooks, or tuck them under rocks. The fewer you have to worry about, the better you can conquer them completely.

In the most evil levels, when you only have two or one guys, and they go first, you'll be lucky to survive their initial attack. When you go, dig yourself in deep. Only poke far enough out to attack, and get back into shelter when you're done.

Luckily, even in those situations there are usually only a few enemies that can potentially reach you at any time. While the rest try to dig their way over to you, or jump over the top, kill off your enemies that are nearby. That way you can be prepared when the rest reach you.

Try to use free weapons whenever you can. Conserve the ones with limits until they will do the maximum amount of damage. Any time you have a group of enemies together, take them out with a radius attack.
