6: Saving the Great Cats
This is the first really tricky one, and there is indeed a trick to making it work right. First, the mission. You have 18 months to get a bunch of cats to 85 suitability rating and 90 happiness. The cats are: 2 lions, 2 bengal tigers, 2 white bengal tigers, 2 siberian tigers, 2 cheetas, 2 jaguars, 2 leopards, 2 black leopards, 2 snow leopards and 2 clouded leopards.
OK, you can really run out of money on this one. Sell all the trees and rocks that you start with. You'll get $5,000 in quality animal, $15,000 for a perfect exhibit, $25,000 customer satisfaction, $15,000 on June 1, $10,000 for births of endangered species, and $10,000 donation when you run out of money. So watch for those and make sure you hit each one. If you need more money, increase the fees for your zoo and all rides you've built.
Start with the easy ones - lion, tiger, siberian tiger. Research the cave and SNOWY ROCK cave. You need both to win. Then research toys - the leopards need their tree. Finally, research all the endangered lions. Be sure to stop each research program when you hit those items you need - don't waste money on pandas!
Get the leopard and cheetah next. The jaguar tends to die early so don't get that *too* early. When you can, if someone wants a "friend" give it a same sex friend so you don't have to deal with babies taking up space. However, for the endangered ones, make pairs because you get extra money for every child born.
The real tricky one is the snowy leopard. They want a hill with little ridges in it. Mostly though, they want that snow cave. If you get them the snow cave, they should be pretty content, and you're done!
