Dispatches from Angst-Land
My kids are so inspiring to me. My oldest daughter is heading off to college in—gosh, only about six more weeks. It hardly seems possible. You hear about empty nest syndrome, but even when you have a couple more birdies at home, it's so hard to let one go. I've lived with Adrienne since I was only a couple of years older than she is. But I'm so proud of her. Do you have a teenager headed off to college this fall? How are you coping?
Teenagers and Birth Control
What you need to know about teenagers and birth control, so that you can be informed when it's time to have tough discussions about sexual health and responsibility.
Teen Summer Ideas—Starlight Week
Schools out for summer! Every Wednesday this summer, come on by for a themed week of ideas for your family. This weeks theme: Starlight! Spend some time this week looking up at the best light show around.
For next week, look for a book review of The Available Parent by Dr. John Duffy. It's an excellent book I think you'll really enjoy.

I blog everyday about body acceptance and athleticism at Live Once, Juicy (http://www.liveoncejuicy.com). I hope you'll come by and visit me there as well.
I'm in the midst of an indie publishing experiment as well. Check out (http://www.wearethefreaks.wordpress.com) for information about my upcoming Young Adult steampunk/dystopian novel, Freaks and the Revolution. And visit my Amazon page for information about my current release, a romantic suspense. (That one's just for you!) (http://amzn.to/jqFDVu)
