Gretings Everyone -

We had a power outage Thursday afternoon, which led us to a nearby Super 8 Motel to spend the night with a microwave, tv and refrigerator. This is the second time we have been there so it was a smooth transition for Matthew. We went there at 6pm and heard the power returned at 10:30 pm.

This is a reminder to watch Nick News next Sunday night at 8:30 pm et/pt. The press release with all the details:

Also another celebrity has disclosed having a child on the autism spectrum. Read the article in essence.com of Holly Robinson Peete:

http://www.essence.com/essence/lifestyle/voices/0,16109,1606557,00.html

Her son is 9 1/2, fully mainstreamed and just coming out publicly now. I saw the couple on Oprah not too long ago and not one mention of autism. I find this to be disappointing that celebrities continue to keep autism a secret like it is something to be ashamed of.

Jenny Mc Carthy has a son who is 4 1/2 and a new book coming out in September on their experience. I have added the links to these stories on the oprah and celebrities article - for future reference to have all links in one spot.

Here's the latest article from the Autism Spectrum Disorders site at BellaOnline.com.

The latest article I wrote on the Insurance site is entitled, Exploring Health Care and Insurance Needs at Schools for Students

What issues may arise for a child in the K-12 school system that pertains to medical care and insurance:
