Hi everyone, that week went quickly!! Itís been hot and muggy here over the past week and it sure saps your energy. I canít imagine how the people who are cleaning up after the floods must be feeling. Iíve been receiving lots of emails from my quilting friends about how we can help and I am pleased to see that our guild, Queensland Quilters will be making a concerted and co-ordinated effort to help those affected. For the time being, they really need money. Further down the track they will need quilts and other comforts, so now is the time to knuckle down and get some quilts made.
And thatís just what Iíve been doing. Iíve got some great patterns for quick and easy quilts that look fabulous (Iíve posted some of these on Bellaonline under ďQuilting for Good CausesĒ). Needless to say my quilt room looks like a cyclone has gone through, but I can still find my machine and cutting board, and I guess thatís all that matters.
Last Sunday I posted another article with links to the many and varied Block of the Month programs that have started in 2011. These are BOMís that are commercially offered and therefore user pays. In a few weeks Iíll be posting an article with all the FREE BOMís available on the web currently. But in the meantime, hereís the link to the commercial BOMís on offer.
So, onto my little pressies for you this week. No particular theme, just fun stuff.
