February 25 2009 Quilting Newsletter

Hello everyone, another Wednesday has arrived which means I pop in for a quick chat. Hope allís well with you all. Itís almost the change of seasons for us all, some going into Spring, and some going into Fall or Autumn as we call it in my neck of the woods.

Iíve been working away this week, getting some articles written ready to be posted on the Bellaonline Quilting site over the next few weeks. Iím always looking for interesting subjects and items to present to you. I value enormously your input into the content of the articles on this site. I often receive emails with suggestions from readers for subjects to be explored. Please donít hesitate to give me your suggestions for articles in the future. Iím open to any suggestions (quilting suggestions of course!!).

Iím getting very close to finishing the ďleafĒ quilt, with just one more corner to finish, and about 20 more 4Ē star blocks to piece. I made the big mistake of counting the amount of leaves and berries on this quilt and I came up with 734 leaves and 120 berries. Iím sure Iíve over calculated, and will wait till Iíve completed it before I count them again!!

I wrote an article on Quilt Guilds, and how you can contribute to them, and posted it on the site last Sunday. I hope you find it interesting to read.

The forum is buzzing along Ė have you looked at the subject I posted a few weeks ago about how we can go about helping the victims of the bushfires in Australia. Pop to the link to add your comments. Hereís the link:

Well, dear quilters, Iím heading out to do the shopping. I hope this newsletter finds you all feeling well and happy and busy busy busy creating those wonderful quilts.

Cheerio for now,
