February 29 2012 Quilting Newsletter

Hi All, the last week of February sees the end of summer as we know it in the southern hemisphere, but for us living in the sub tropics, the heat will not diminish until the middle of April. Lucky I guess, but we face the cyclone season during this time.

We had our monthly meeting of Sunshine Linus on Monday and what a busy day. Yvonne gave a great workshop on making the little rolly nester bags that we are making for the foster children. Lots of gorgeous quilts came in and weíre ready to make another delivery to a special school. Itís all happening, as they say.

On Sunday I had the pleasure of posting an interview I conducted with Susan Brittingham, a renowned Art Quilter. I got so much from this interview Ė and I hope you do to. The article is titled "May I Introduce.... Susan Brittingham." Susan Brittingham is a Art Quilt teacher online at QuiltUiversity.com. Susan has agreed to an interview with Judie Bellingham, to tell us about her life in quilting. Here's the link:

Donít forget the Quilting forum is there for you to use. You can post queries, comments or just have a chat with other quilters. To participate in free, fun online discussions, this site has a community forum all about Quilting located here -
