March 14 2012 Quilting Newsletter

Hi quilters, itís that time again, pour yourself a cuppa and letís catch up. St Patricks Day is almost upon us and I know that pretty much around the globe, where ever the Irish gather, there will be some serious celebrating going on. In Brisbane, even though itís as far away from Ireland that you could possibly get Ė there is a strong contingent of Irishmen and women and they make themselves heard all the way around Oz.

Lots of green beer, and green faces the following day, but all in fun. Did you know that the Irish have a very strong Quilting fraternity? Hereís a few links to see whatís happening quilt wise in Ireland at present:

I posted an article on Quilt & Fabric Challenges for 2012 last week. I had lots of fun searching the web for interesting fabric challenges. Here's a great selection of fabric and Quilt challenges for 2012, from around the globe. http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art175130.asp

Donít forget the Quilting forum is there for you to use. You can post queries, comments or just have a chat with other quilters. To participate in free, fun online discussions, this site has a community forum all about Quilting located here Ė
