March 20 2013 Quilting Newsletter

Hello there again, itís just me popping in to say hello. The weather has changed here in the last week from hot, humid and muggy to beautiful warmish days and cooler nights which means weíre all sleeping better! Hooray! So itís hello to autumn here in Australia and for us in Queensland the best time of the year. Weíll enjoy this sort of weather now until about July, when it will start to get cooler.

We had some visitors over the weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We took our friends to the Roma Street Gardens in the city for a walk and then lunch at a cafť nearby and it was a really sunny day and very pleasant walking about the beautiful gardens. It does the soul the world of good to get out amongst growing plants and green grass, and the sound of running water. A good dose of medicine for me!!

Last week I posted some more postcards that Iíve finished for my postcard swap. Had fun making them and have some photos for you. Hereís the link: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art179946.asp
