Hi everyone, how are you going this week? We have a short week here, as we celebrate Anzac Day today. This is a national public holiday that is celebrated on the very day, so being a Wednesday, itís nice to have a mid-week break.
Iíve made the most of the day off, and have been busy cutting and sewing the insert blocks for my hexagon quilt. Itís coming along nicely, but I have 60 blocks to make, so Iím aiming to get 2 blocks done each day. I think itís possible, energy levels permitting. Havenít been very well this week, busy fighting off another chest infection.
This may sound strange, but my chest is my Achilles Heel! If Iím a little run down, itís the chest that packs it in! Never mind, Iím fortunate that I can get medicine to help and rest is the best thing. Ha! Who knows a quilter who will rest when thereís quiltiní to be done?
The Postcard swap that Iím a member of is zooming along and I recently made a few cards ready for swapping. I wrote about it in my latest article and hereís the link if youíre interested. Iíve included some photos and instructions here. http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art176205.asp
The forum is bubbling along, and donít forget youíre welcome to become a forum member and contribute to this forum. Hereís the link for you: http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php/forums/43/1/Quilting
