Hi all, Iím running a day late this week Ė my apologies, but Iíve been head down you know what up, sewing like the clappers and getting some things done! Yesterday was our Sisters of Stitch gathering day and of course it was a wonderfully noisy get-together.
I love before and after articles. You know the ones Ė before and after sewing rooms, bathrooms, and makeovers of ordinary people like me. Well, Iíve got my own before and after to show you. (Donít get too excited, not a makeover of me unfortunately. THAT would take a resurrection shuffle of huge proportions!!LOL).
My dining chairs are in good condition but the cushions have had their day and have really needed to be replaced for a number of years. Well, we bit the bullet and have reupholstered them ourselves and wow, weíre so pleased with our efforts. I took a picture, pop over to my blog and see for yourself. Hereís the link: http://whenlifehandsyouscraps.blogspot.com.au/. Weíve saved a lot of money (which I can spend on fabric!) and will get another five years of life from the dining chairs. Yeah!!
