Fabric and textiles are so much a part of our everyday life. Leftover fabric from sewing projects and the still usable fabric in worn clothes, even the smallest of pieces, can be looked upon as a treasure trove of things-not-yet-made; a sewer’s canvas of possibilities just waiting for the fabric to bring the canvas alive with color, texture, line, and form creating meaning, beauty, and utility.
