Welcome to the first 2007 Walking newsletter
Make 2007 a walking year. It will be the year you start to walk and become fitter and healthier as a result.
Now is the time to plan and start a walking routine.
Note not just plan but actually start walking. Try to build walking into your way of life dont look upon it as a chore but something to look forward to. Make January 2007 the beginning of your healthy lifestyle, that will last for the rest of your life.
Remember if you are very overweight or unfit to consult your health professional before you start a walking plan. Walking is a very safe way to exercise but it makes sense to get yourself checked out just in case.
In England many doctors are now prescribing exercise to patients and walking is the top recommendation.
