April 18 2008 Alaska Newsletter

Dear Readers,

Last week I noted that spring was on the way. I spoke too soon! This past week we had temperatures below zero again, as well as nearly a foot of new snow (accumulated over several days). Today, though, the sun is shining for a change and icicles are forming along the eaves of the house. Perhaps we’ll be snow free by the end of the month!

Here's the latest article from the Alaska site at BellaOnline.com.

Things to do in Nome
Whether you're an adventurer or a history buff, Nome has something that will pique your interest.

I also posted a companion article with photos from Nome. You’ll find a link to those at the bottom of the above mentioned article.

Have a great week!
