May 30 2008 Alaska Newsletter

Dear Readers,

I made it back home to Alaska earlier this week. After picking up supplies in Anchorage, I drove out to Point McKenzie to pick up a couple of new “family members.” Tomcat and Curious arrived in Chistochina in the back of our Toyota pickup, and promptly got to work providing us with fresh milk.

Goats? In Alaska? They are actually quite hardy animals, as are a number of other living creatures grown as a part of Alaska’s agriculture. Read more about this concept in the latest article from the Alaska site at BellaOnline.com.
