March 20 2008 Animal Life Newsletter

Greetings!

Welcome to Animal Life! This newsletter is jam packed with everything you could ever want to know about animals. All you need do is subscribe (in the box to the right or below) and I’ll do my best to bring you up close and personal with their world. You’ll learn about animal communication and how to do it. You’ll learn the truth behind seemingly benign “entertainment”, the cosmetics and household products you buy and what you might be supporting, unwittingly. You’ll read stories that will amaze you, astound you and leave you breathless. We’ll open doors to an unknown universe that will make you laugh, cry, get your hackles up occasionally and get you motivated. Whatever you experience, it won’t be boredom.

My writing is of an investigative nature. The integrity of my writing rests on my ability to be thorough, meticulous, well researched and credible. I cannot promise you’ll like everything I write. I do promise it will stand up to scrutiny. Nothing is off limits – ask me anything you always wanted to know about animals and if I don’t have the answer, I’ll find it! You have my word, you won’t go away empty-handed!

At Animal Life, we’ll explore the fascinating world of animals, wild and domestic. We’ll examine little known facts and talk about how animals communicate - with us, and each other. We’ll delve into the differences between our language and theirs and how to successfully bridge that. We’ll examine everything from how animals operate, why and the distinct possibility that we’ve held false opinions about their behavior for years based on what we thought they were doing and not what they were really be doing. Well take a close look at anthropomorphism and the danger of how this helps cement ideas about some animal species that may be completely wrong. We’ll talk about behaviors many humans consider taboo and why it isn’t an issue for animals.

In the forum and chat room we’ll discuss ideas, explore new territories, challenge each other to new and higher levels of consciousness. We’ll share opinions and discover how we formed those opinions. You’ll learn how to separate fact from fiction and come away with a firm foundation to the inner workings of the animal kingdom.

If you subscribe to the Animal Life newsletter, you won’t be disappointed. You can unsubscribe at any time, no questions asked, no hassle. And of course, here at Bellaonline your email address is sacred. It’s never sold, traded, given out or abused in any way. Your trust is important to us and we have a reputation for keeping our members safe and anonymous. We ask for no personal information. If you sign up for the Animal Life newsletter, this is the only newsletter you’ll get – unless you actually sign up for additional newsletters on other topics.

Please join us for an exciting opportunity to step beyond the paradigm of your current awareness and into a magical world of other life forms!

Article for Thursday, March 20th, 2008: What's in a Name?

"Language, the glue that cements concepts in place" Gist: laughing and/or telling racial or cultural jokes help keep erroneous concepts about a particular group of people concreted in our mind. If I refer to you as “it”, you’d be offended and rightly so. “It” is something inanimate or dead, like a coffee table or a lamp. A reference of “it” robs the subject of value. By referring to animals in this manner, we, in effect, distance ourselves from them and thus make it easier to exploit them. By adopting the simple practice of referring to animals by the proper pronoun of “he” or “she”, we’ll find our feelings about the way we treat them have changed as well.
