Welcome to the January 14th edition of the BellaOnline Anime newsletter!
After I sent last week's newsletter out, news had come out that veteran Japanese anime voice actor Osamu Ichikawa had passed away. So, I wrote up a biography of him, which is a "Featured Article" on the main page of the Anime site.
This week, I also posted three reviews. One is for the book Anime Essentials: Every Thing a Fan Needs to Know by Gilles Poitras. The other two reviews are for the Inuyasha Fifth Season DVD Box Set and the Robotech Legacy Box 4. Links to all three of these reviews are included later in the newsletter. I am now also featuring the anime film Metropolis as an "Editor's Pick" on the main Anime site.
